Shar Levy, 1990, has opened the firm of Levy & Biskobing with Thomas Biskobing. The firm focuses on workers' compensation, including discrimination and serious and willful misconduct claims. Levy was previously with Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi.
Darrick T. Chase, 1990, of counsel at Kaye · Moser · Hierbaum LLP, was selected from more than 1,300 volunteers as an Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service by the Bar Association of San Francisco Volunteer Legal Services Program. Chase practices family law and estate planning law.
William Gutierrez, 1990, has joined Carr McClellan as special counsel in the firm's corporate, business, and civil litigation practice. Specializing in corporate transactional business and employment matters, he has extensive litigation experience in employment, contracts, real estate business disputes, and construction.
Ellen Marrus, 1990, co-director of the Center for Children, Law & Policy at the University of Houston Law Center, co-authored "Child-Centered Jurisprudence and Feminist Jurisprudence: Exploring the Connections and Tensions" in the Houston Law Review. Marrus is also the author of "Gault, 40 Years Later: Are We There Yet?," published in the Criminal Law Bulletin.
Matthew Levy, 1990, has left Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin, where he was the manager of electronic discovery and practice support, and joined Stratify Inc., where he will serve as associate director of client development and strategy for the company's legal discovery unit.
Scott Reynolds, 1990, has joined Jenkins Insurance Group, a Leavitt Group-affiliated agency, as a vice president. Reynolds will lead Jenkins' new energy practice with a focus on the renewable energy industry. Reynolds has been in the insurance industry for 28 years with extensive experience in the energy field.

Andrew E. Sweet, 1992, has been appointed a Marin County Superior Court judge by Gov. Schwarzenegger. He previously served as an attorney for Moscone, Emblidge & Quadra and a deputy district attorney for Alameda County.

Benjamin Reyes, 1992, a partner with Meyers Nave Riback Silver & Wilson, has been selected by Union City as assistant city attorney. Reyes is currently the city attorney for Pinole and also serves as assistant general counsel for the Northern California Power Agency and the Stege Sanitary District.
Paul Haaskenson, 1993, a former prosecutor appointed to the bench by Gov. Schwarzenegger in 2006, was featured in the Court Watch section of The Recorder.
Jesus E. Martinez, 1994, is working as director of contracts for Hansen Medical, Inc., a public medical devices company in Mountain View.

Christopher Krueger, 1994, was appointed chief deputy legal affairs secretary in April by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. In March, as a senior assistant attorney general, he represented the attorney general before the California Supreme Court in the consolidated actions challenging the constitutionality of Prop. 8.
Dawna Frenchie Reeves, 1995, was appointed to the Stanislaus County Superior Court by Gov. Schwarzenegger; she is the first African-American to hold this position.
Tamara Lawson, 1995, authored "A Shift Towards Gender Equality in Prosecutions: Realizing Legitimate Enforcement of Crimes Committed Against Women in Municipal and International Criminal Law" in the winter 2009 edition of Southern Illinois University Law Journal. Lawson is an associate professor at St. Thomas University School of Law.

Robert A. Afshar, 1996, recently founded RAA Ventures located in Las Vegas. RAA Ventures is an angel investor and venture capital fund dedicated to early and mid-stage investments in internet marketing and web 2.0 social media companies. He also co-founded and serves on the board of directors of FBM Software, a producer of internet security and anti-spyware applications.
