Meet Our Staff
Bryan Hinkle, J.D., Director
Bryan was the former Assistant Director and Acting Assistant Dean for Law Career Services at Santa Clara University. He returns to the career services and legal recruitment community after working for Access Group, a non-profit lender based in Wilmington, Delaware. Bryan received his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2002, and has a B.A. and Graduate Certificate from UC Santa Cruz. In addition to career services, Bryan has administrative experience in law admissions, financial aid, and accounts receivable.
Marina Sarmiento Feehan, J.D., Assistant Director for Employer Relations
A former career counselor at UC Hastings College of the Law, Marina joined Career Planning in May 2007. Prior to joining USF, Marina was Corporate Counsel for Fair Isaac Corporation, handling contract negotiations and licensing for the corporation's internet and web-based software applications. Marina graduated from University of California Los Angeles School of Law. She has practiced law for over 15 years in a number of settings including civil and business litigation firms, small firms, and public interest agencies. Formerly President of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California, Marina also served two years on the Board of Directors of the Asian American Bar Association (AABA) and co-chaired AABA's Employment Committee. Marina also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall of the United States District Court, Southern District of California.
Molly Coughlin, J.D., Assistant Director for Law Career Development
Molly is an alumnus of USF School of Law, and joins the OCP from Thelen LLP where she was the Attorney Recruiting Coordinator. Prior to Thelen, Molly was the Associate Director for Recruitment at UC Hastings, College of the Law, where she focused on career counseling and employer relations. After law school, Molly was an associate in the litigation and appellate practice groups at the firm formerly known as Hancock, Rothert & Bunshoft LLP, where she was also a summer associate. Molly is excited to be back at USF providing career counseling to students.
Jocelyn Simon, Recruiting Coordinator
A graduate of the University of California Davis, and a former trial litigation paralegal, Jocelyn is the primary office liaison for employers seeking to hire USF students and alumni. Jocelyn oversees the On Campus Interview (OCI) program and all general recruiting activities. She manages all job posting activity on the USFLaw Link jobs database and handles requests for reciprocity. Jocelyn is currently a graduate student in the College of Professional Studies, focusing on a Masters of Science in Organization Development.
Kristin Heryford, Program Assistant
Kristin is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Law and Society. Kristin heads the front desk, assists in the coordination of Office of Career Planning programs and events, and oversees the administrative aspects of the office.
