Biographical Note

Adjunct Professor Aceves is vice provost and associate professor of accounting at the University of San Francisco. He is the recipient of five USF teaching awards and has been included in the "6.0" club for best teaching at the Haas School of Business at the UC Berkeley. His current research includes an empirical study of strategic, organizational and cultural fit in Sino-U.S. Joint Ventures (Heiman, Li, Chan, and Aceves) published by the Asia Business Journal (2008). He completed a BNA tax portfolio on interest expense deductions (Daher and Aceves) published in 2007. Aceves is also the lead author of Financial Accounting: Performance Measurement and Analysis (Houghton Mifflin, forthcoming 2009). Aceves was previously employed as a tax associate with Price Waterhouse and tax manager with Citibank.
