Biographical Note

Adjunct Professor Aguirre is a felony trial lawyer at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office and previously served as an attorney for Pier 5 Law Offices and as a civil litigation law clerk. She began practicing criminal defense in 2003 at Tony Serra's office and became a public defender in Fresno in 2004. Aguirre practices in San Francisco Superior Court and has tried over 50 jury trials. She conducts regular trainings for other attorneys and has sat as a moot court judge for several years. She is fluent in Spanish.
