Judith Cohen

Adjunct Professor Cohen is a partner at MBV Law LLP in San Francisco where her expertise includes commercial and residential real estate acquisition, disposition, financing, lease formation, negotiation and modification, loan modification and workout, investigation and resolution of boundary and title issues, conservation work, and green building and the creation of sustainable communities. She is the founder of Warrior One, Mindfulness in Action, which teaches participant-specific yoga and mindfulness meditation to law professionals and at-risk youth. She is also a member of the Lawyer's Group for the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society. Cohen is currently a director of the Daniel Weinstein Youth Foundation and was a founding director of the Center for Youth Development Through Law, which runs the Street Law Summer Legal Fellowship Program. She is a member of the advisory board of the Center for Community Legal Education (the Street Law Project), a teacher in the Street Law Program, and a co-founder of and teacher in the Juvenile Detention Center Street Law Programs in San Francisco and Alameda counties.
