Feb. 15 Priority deadline to apply for the 2010—11 FAFSA application—new admits
(Note: The Feb. 15 priority deadline is to ensure that financial aid award notices are sent to new admits by early April—new admits can still submit a FAFSA after Feb. 15 and any FAFSA submitted after Feb. 15 will still be processed by the federal government. All new admits who have submitted a FAFSA and listed USF on their FAFSA will receive a Financial Aid Award notice regardless of when the FAFSA is submitted.)
March 1 Begin applying for summer private loan for the Summer 2010 term
March 1 Last day to submit Computer Loan Budget Increase Request for the 2009–10 academic year
March 2 Priority deadline for 2010-10 FAFSA and FAFSA renewal applications—continuing law students
April 1 USF begins sending out Financial Aid Award notices to law students who have completed a FAFSA application
April 1 Priority deadline to submit Intent to Enroll for Summer Form for the USF summer, summer abroad, and intensive advocacy programs (Note: You can submit after April 1, but your loan may not be certified or approved in time to meet tuition deadlines.)
April 1 Last day to submit a PLUS loan application for the 2009–10 academic year
April 1 Last day to submit a 2009–10 FAFSA application
April 1 Begin applying for PLUS loan for summer 2010 (students must be registered for summer classes before summer aid request is processed)
May 1 Summer 2010 tuition payment deadline
May 3 Anticipated summer 2010 disbursement date for private loans
May 17 Anticipated summer 2010 disbursement date for federal aid including PLUS loans
June 1–July 15 Apply for PLUS or private loans for fall 2010 and spring 2011 (Note: Students may apply after July 15 but their loans may not be certified in time to meet the fall tuition deadline.)
July 15 Priority deadline to submit Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) loan refund forms to USF One Stop Office for fall term (Note: It takes at least 10 business days for USF One Stop to process EFT forms.)
Aug. 1 Fall 2010 tuition payment deadline
Aug. 16 Anticipated fall 2010 disbursement date for federal and private loans
